Jeffrey Bergman graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 2013) and magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh (B.A. 2010).
Mr. Bergman works primarily in the Litigation department. He joined the firm in 2013. His practice involves complex commercial litigation, contract disputes and corporate dissolution matters. Mr. Bergman also works substantially in the Real Estate and Corporate departments, focusing on multi-family residential real estate, secured transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
While in law school, Mr. Bergman was part of the Cardozo Mediation Clinic, where he honed his skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation; Mr. Bergman still mediates in both Manhattan and Brooklyn Small Claims courts as a New York Peace Institute approved mediator. Also in law school, Mr. Bergman was a Research Assistant on an article that explored changes to “Consumer-Friendly” Arbitration Clauses after the Supreme Court’s decision in AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion, which was published in the December 2012 Notre Dame Law Review.
Mr. Bergman is admitted to the New Jersey and New York Bar.
