Michael Beckman graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law and New York University School of Law (J.D.; LLM) and graduated from the Baruch College of the City University of New York (B.B.A.). Mr. Beckman served as Editor-in-Chief of the Accounting Forum, was President of The National Honor Society, Beta Alpha Psi, and was on the Dean’s List while in law school.
Mr. Beckman has a real estate practice that includes all aspects of real estate transactions, both commercial and residential, real estate financing, leasing, as well as business and corporate/securities laws matters.
Mr. Beckman has previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate and Corporate Finance at New York University and has conducted educational seminars in all such subjects. He also is frequently quoted in many newspapers and magazines. Mr. Beckman also serves as a Director at the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, a foundation built to bridge the academic performance gap among under-achieving students by extending the school day and year with wholesome skill-building activities. Mr. Beckman previously served on the boards of The New York Junior Tennis League, an organization providing tennis to inner-city children, Graphic Scanning Corp, Amilite Corporation and Premier Autoglass, Inc.
Michael Beckman is recognized in New York Magazine as one of New York City's "Top Area Lawyers".
Mr. Beckman is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to the Southern District of New York.
